SUMMER SHOWCASE
SUNDAY 7TH JULY
HULLBRIDGE SPORTS AND SOCIAL CLUB
I have had real problems finding a suitable theatre to do a summer show and so I have decided to do a smaller scale showcase. A chance to show the students work in a relaxed ‘Cabaret’ style setting. The venue is very intimate and the bar will be open! We are planning to have the audience sitting at tables but this will depend on the demand for tickets.
As usual students MUST attend Show Registration on one of the following dates at MTC:
Monday 29th April between 6 and 8pm
Saturday 4th May between 4.30 and 6pm
At this registration day you will be able to reserve tickets, pay costume deposits, buy good luck boxes and order t shirts.
Once again we will be asking for a £20 deposit in a named envelope which is kept until after the show and returned to you once we receive your costumes back. We will also be charging a hire fee for costumes of between £5 and £15 depending on the items this will be advised once we have decided what we are doing!!!
If you do not attend Show registration it will be assumed you are not doing the show. This is not a problem, it will not affect your class and you can still attend classes as normal.
On the day of the show we will have a rehearsal in the morning and two shows, a matinee and an early evening, hoping to be finished by 7ish.
We will have a Dress Rehearsal on Saturday 6th July at MTC form 2 till 5. Please bring a £3 rehearsal fee.
Other rehearsal may be called depending on how much of a panic I get in!
Tickets will cost £6 each.
