ear Parents/Carers, Mushroom Theatre Company – Halloween Parade Following the huge success of last year’s Halloween Parade, we are excited to be taking part once again this year. We are opening rehearsals to selected students aged 9 and above. As this is a processional performance, students will need to be able to dance choreographed routines continuously along the seafront route throughout the parade, without breaks, as we will not have a float that participants can ride on. For this reason, this project will be strictly invitation only. We see this as a fantastic opportunity for students to perform in a different style of dance and be part of a large-scale community event. The plan is to rehearse during Thursday senior sessions from 7.15pm–8.15pm, as soon as we return from summer holidays, with the possibility of one or two additional rehearsals closer to the event if required. There will be a small costume cost, as usual, and possibly a contribution towards any extra rehearsals if needed. However, we do not anticipate the total cost being any more than £30.
