If you’re Going Nowhere on Thursday 7 April then maybe the fun-packed workshop we have planned in These Four Walls (some call it a Madhouse, but officially it’s the Equal People Performing ArtsTowers) could Change Your Life… or at least the day. If song, dance and having fun is in your child’s D.N.A. (your Little Me – Girl or Boy) and they like to Move(maybe like a Canonball) then call one of the Weird People in the Office to book your place: you’re Good Enough.
The day will run from 10am-3pm at 29 Brook Road, Rayleigh.
Children should bring a packed lunch; places are just £15.
Booking is essential. We Saluteyou. There’ll be no Black Magic, but we may teach A Secret Love Song.
PS – They’re not really Weird People in the Office – They Just Don’t Know You
This Saturday, 12 December, we want to give parents and carers a chance to see what their children have been doing in classes over the last term. This isn’t always possible as it can be distracting for the students, and isn’t always appropriate for some of the cared-for and special needs children, but they all work so hard and we want to create an opportunity for them to share that (though we’re sure you get to see a lot of it already…. when trying to delay bedtime and in the busiest aisle of the supermarket usually!)
We’re asking for a £1 donation to the charity also, and want to take this opportunity to thank you for all the support you give to Mushroom and Equal People throughout the past year.
Parking is limited as you know, and with more parents staying it will be busier than usual. Those able to may find it more convenient to park further down Brook Road and walk a short distance.
Come and join us for eats, drinks and mischief at our Spooktacular Hallowe’en Disco on Friday 30 October, 4-6pm. Tickets cost £6 and are available from the Mushroom Theatre Company reception at 29 Brook Road Rayleigh. Fancy dress is optional.
This October half-term we’re running a fun-packed day of song, dance and drama with a Thriller theme. The workshop will run from 10am to 3pm on Friday 30 October, for children aged 5 and above. The day costs just £15, and children should bring a packed lunch.
